Alhassan Mariam is the Director of programmes for Prime Initiatives. She oversees the planning, implementation, and evaluation of all aspects of programmes implemented by the organization.  She ensures that all programmes of the organization run smoothly, meet objectives, and stay within budget. She manages all the project teams within the organization while collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes. She is responsible responsible for the entire lifecycle of programmes of the organization from conception to completion. She plays a supervisory role over all projects.

She is well-experienced in her role has led the successful implementation of projects. She has expertise in community mobilization and stakeholder engagement. She has participated in several capacity building training programmes organized by international and local institutions. She is very passionate about issues that affect women, children and young people. She has BSc in Nursing and Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies. She also holds certificates in Project Management and Gender & Development.

She is currently studying for a Masters Degree in Nursing.
